Not a beginner to fish keeping, but new to ich. I was a bozo and the one time I did not quarantine new arrivals, I got ich. Anyway, I've a 29gal tank going on 18 years up and running. I have read through several posts here about ich, but not any good ideas on length of treatment. I have been treating with "QuICK Cure" by Aquarium Products. I have raised the temperature up to 88F and done a few water changes over the last three days. Not all the fish showed signs of ich, but the tetras, who were the worst, are finally showing less spots.
No sign of amonia and PH is OK. One Gold Gourami, 11 White Clouds, 5 Spotted Cory cats have shown no signs of ich whatsoever. One Otocat (now cleared up), one Betta, and 12 tetras were affected.
How many days sHould I continue to treat after the last signs of ich?
