I've treated ich before but not from a community tank. Two of my fish have ich right now and I don't have a heated hospital tank set up yet. Is it okay to treat all the fish together or will it harm the others?

10g tank: 3 mollies, 1 guppy, 1 glo-light tetra, 1 plecostomus

try aquarium salt, the pleco might not like it i've used salt to cure ich in a community tank with 2 plecos and they didnt show any signs of the salt bothering them, just keep an eye on him

The chem way..

The first step is raise the temperature to about 84-85°f (29-30°C) this will lessen the cycle time. Many shop's stock Ich treatments, one containing Malachite green will be best suited to the job. Treat as stated dosage. The hole tank will require treatment as this disease can spread easily. Dosage should take place for aprox. 12days.

Yes i agree with what has been said, some people do use salt and that it, but I don't no if it works never tried just salt.
