ich not getting better

ive been treating my tank for ich with salt(1tsp per 5g) since june 27 and its gotten alot worse and ive already lost 2 neons ..it seems like that salt doesnt do anything ..what should i do ..my heater is broken and i dont have any money.. all i have is salt

what you should use is some quick cure. i had it and it solved the problem fast.

Yes, use the product QuICK Cure, it's found in most fish stores and only costs around $5 and states it will kill Ick in 3 days. I'm using it right now and it's definitely proves it's point" no more ick".

Quick cure is a malachite green fomula. Malachite green and temp raised to around 80 degrees is the recommended treatment for a lot of stuff. Make sure that your water parameters are good before you start the treatment. This fish might have gotten ich and be dying cuz of something else. They normally get ick cuz of water parameters being bad.

You could have lost Neons because of the Salt..........

aren't you NOT suppose to treat Tetras with salt??

Tetras are sensitive to salt and meds( on Quick cure it even states half the dosage for tetras). I'd added salt to my tetra tanks before and they weren't bothered, same with my cories. Bare in mind they weren't full dosages.......

you could also use ick clear (by jungle) which is really cheap about $3 in walmart.
i used it and it cleared up right away but i used it when i noticed the ick (wasn't bad). you might have to use it a bit longer
