Ich and internal parasites

Hi all,
Just lost a platie . I have noticed that 2 other platies have long stringy white poos (internal parasites) and one appears to have white spot (ich).
I have some medicine from the lfs for the internal parasites, I am going to get the ich medi tomorrow - can I treat for both conditions at the same time?
Also, will this cause my tank to un cycle?

Depending on the medicine you use, it may allow you to use other medications along with it. Read the leaflet that comes with the medicine.

the instructions are rather vague. I don't know if I will have time to treat anything else though, when I checked on them after dropping the kids at school, there is some serious fin clamp happening and he is sitting on the bottom.
I will check with the lfs (hoping they will actually know this time....)

I would suggest you add salt to the tank (1-2tsp per gallon). This will not affect whatever medication you have aleready put into the tank. It can help rid internal parasites and I've heard people claiming it helps rid ich as well (in early stages?).
