My new tank for Daphnia. You can see the daphnia move so fast they look like little streaks at my cameras exposure.

No cycling required, these little fellas were straight in there today out of the soda bottle I've been using for a week.

Tank cost £5 at a boot sale (Americans read yard sale) - I got a filter with it which has been removed and replaced with a slow bubble, open ended in one corner.
The haze is the yeast.

Erm, it's an Aqua start something, sorry, got a beer and too laid back to go and check which one (SORRY), but you are looking at a completely curved (180 degree) front
which I think is quite unusual, and is magnifying the daphnia, which is also ideal.
There's a big warning sticker on the back which says it can break if you move it full, which is worrying... because ... I've got to move it. Not sure whether to risk it as it's light enough to pick up.
