I got myself a baby Albino cory. He/or she is such a cutie. Doing real well in with the guppies and blackskirt tetra. It's about an inch long. He/or she is my little helper. Gonna help me clean the bottom of the tank by eating the flakes off the gravels.

I'm so happy! I had to really control my urges to buy more fishes.

I do have question, how do I know if it is a boy or a girl. In the store, it didn't give me the sex. Also, stupid me, I left and forgot to ask someone what the sex was. Is there any way to know?

Well, I don't plan on breeding them so I guess it wouldn't matter too much. I wanted to give name but not sure what since I don't know if it is a girl or boy. I think I'm going to call it Corey!

It's a bit hard to determine the sex of cories... easiest way to tell is compare it to the others, the females are usually larger and thicker than the males...

What? You only have one? Cories are most happy when in groups of three or more. If you've got the space in your tank, why not pick up a couple more?

Ok, I did it. I went back out and I got another one. yes only one. I don't have room for more as I'd like. It's doing well and I think they will be happy. If they are happy, then I am happy.

It was really hard to not buy more. If I had a million dollars.....I'd buy a house for fishes. Rows and rows of tanks. I'll hire three people to help and keep them fed and well cared for. *sigh*......

You should of asked Petco what sex they are when you went to get the other two.
