i want to keep bettas

i need to keep bettas they are so pretty but i dont want it to die i need to know wat to feed it and how big a tank to use and stuff like that please help

Keep it in nothing less than a 1 gallon. Feed it hikari pellets, frozen blood worms, brine shrimp, tubifex, and peas. Do water changes every week. Good luck!

Also, only silk or real plants in the tank. Anything else will tear its fins.

2.5 gallons minimum, in my opinion. A 5 gallon is better because you can have a heater (they are tropical) and a filter. They do like to swim about a lot!

Some kind of plants, and something to hide in. High quality pellets a couple of times a day, with a treat of frozen bloodworms (cheap and will be in the same place you buy the pellets) every couple days.

A mirror so he can be stimulated, let him see himself for intervals throughout the day.

Just make sure you reove the mirror after a while so he doesn't freak himself out!
