Hello all!
So i would like to go up the plant route but this will be for the first time so a little worried I'll mess it up. I was hoping that's where you guys can help me out
I want to go easy as it's going to be my first planted tank so low light and no CO2. Here is the tank:
Tank - Roma 125
Filter - Fluval U3 Internal Filter
Heater - Fluval Mirrored M Series Heater 150watt
Lighting - One Power-Glo Fluorescent Aquarium Tube 20W 60.96cm (24in) T8
One Aqua-Glo Fluorescent Aquarium Tube 20W 60.96 cm (24in) T8
Substrate - Sand
I have been looking at the easy section on plant websites and so I attempted to do a diagram of what I would like:
Not the best diagram in the world but you get the idea
A - Anubias Nana
B - Anubias petite nana
C - Star moss
D - Flame moss
E - Vallisneria nana
F - Echinodorus bleheri
G - Ceratophyllum demersum 'Foxtail'
H - Heater
So that is what I would like, but does it work?
Is that too many plants? Seeing as I don't really want to go down the CO2 route.
Also what ferts should I be using? Would root tabs be enough?
Any advice would be awesome
Oh the fish that are in it atm are 6 neon tetras and 1 doctor fish.
