i really want to get a pygmy puffer which other fish can live with it, ive herd that they are right little fin nippers.............................the fish ive got are 3 platys,1 leopard pleco, 2 dwarf gouramis, 2 golden gouramis, 1 eel dont know what sort and never see it its always hiding, 1 molly, 2 angel fish, 1 male fighter, 1 chinese algae eater, 1 marbled hatcher.......cheers

puffers need to be kept by themselves for the most partn, 'fin nippers' is an understatement, they are very aggressive fish and likely to kill any peaceful tank occupants. best bet if you like them is to set up a small tank for one by itself or a small group

stocking not good.

male fighters (bettas) should be kept alone as they are aggressive and will kill anything that looks like another male
also they must not be kept with gourami, how long have you had them?
chinese algae eaters get aggressive as they grow and can easily take out a fish double its size
it the eel a coolie loach? if not try get a picture of the eel and someone will identify it.
