So I went to get some more danios and silver dollars since I needed more for a school of em. Well I only bought one more silver dollar for now, since I didnt bring alot of money with me, and they gave me what kind of looked like a silver dollar, body shape and all, but it has a red eye lid, and I dont think my other one had that characteristic, and it also has two moon shaped black stripes, very vague and hard to see though, I even questioned her saying "are you sure thats a silver dollar" cuz it looked kind of different then the other ones in the tank, and she says "Thats all we had in this tank, silver dollars and tinfoil barbs" so I believed her... is this a silver dollar or something else? It seems to swim pretty close by the other silver dollar in my tank, but maybe im wrong, I hope not!

there are several species from the genus Metynnis, as well as the genus Mylossoma that are sold as Silver Dollars. Some species are more elongated, some spotted and some are striped. Generally the Metynnis species sport a large adipose fin while the Mylossoma display a small adipose fin.

I probably shouldn't be so ignorant about these fish as I own 6 Silver Dollars myself, but what do you mean "red eyelids". You mean their eyes are red? If I'm not mistaken those are all out Pirahnas.
