I've noticed in the last couple of days one of my male bettas (one with the longest fins) has been acting strange. I noticed yesterday during a water change that on the tips of his fins there looks to be blood. He also appears to have fungus on his fins
He's started to lay on the bottom of his kritter keepers more often and he has been occasionally darting around the tank. I cant see any white spots on him.
I do 2 100% water changes a week. Does it sound like Septicemia? I've looked at pictures of when I first got him and now and he definitely didn't have these red blood spots on the ends of his fins.
I need help on how to go about treating him as I've never dealt with anything like this before. Yesterday I put in some fungus medication for the fungus I can see on his fins but maybe I should be treating with something different if he indeed has septicemia?
