Can someone confirm if this is a baby Oto ? I have Otoinclus, Cory hastatus and Cory pygmaeus in the tank, with a shedload of shrimp.

I saw one, even smaller, a few days ago on the glass and I sucked it out with a turkey baster and disposed of it because I stupidly just assumed it was some weird and undesirable invert. It was literally the day I had just added a new plant and I assumed it had come in on the plant. But today I saw another one, a bit larger and it just clicked that its probably an otocinclus fry. Oooooh nice one if it is. I was hoping they would breed, but sort of didn't expect it because the tank is a shrimp tank really and not idealised for Otos.

Looks like a baby pygmy Cory. Leave them in the main tank so you don't damage them trying to catch and move them. The parents won't eat them.
