I think my fish is dying

anyone got any ideas what to do about a bubble eye fish that is upside down? He started off floating upside down on the surface, but now has started to sink! Help me. I don't think he is able to feed and I think hes starving. There is another fish in the tank and he is fine.

sounds like swim bladder disease. i don't think there's a cure. feeding him green food and keeping temperature constant can help. but as you say, if he's not eating, it's a bad sign

I know that this is going to sound really stupid, but would he float to the top when he dies or would he sink?

Depends may be either one. If your wondering how to tell if he is dead just watch the gills very closely. HTH

did ya flip him back over? some fish go on their back and need help going right side up again. like my cory 4 example. and i bet ur fish cant eat because hes upsidown
