I think my CT ate one of my

I had 3 pigmy corries in with my CT betta, but now I can only find 2. I think he may have eaten one cause I haven't found any remains resembling the missing pigmy. I am going to have to take one of the 6 out of my 10 gal so I can get them back into the right number. Has anyone else had this problem?

I highly doubt that he betta ate it. Chances are that it died and was torn apart by all the fish or it simply disintegrated (not as a joke) like fish tend to do.

You sure it isn't still in there somewhere?

I have looked a few times a day for a couple days and only see 2. I'll keep looking though. For the mean time though I moved one over from my 10 gal femal betta tank. I've also checked the ammonia level every day since I noticed it missing to check for spikes as it is a good sign of a dead rotting fish, but have had none.

How does your cory population stand as of right now? I mean, how many per tank and all that.

I had 3 in the 5 gal with the CT till I noticed the one missing so 2 now, and 6 in the 10 gal.

iv seen corys eat dead fish and my guess is it died and is homies chowed down on him, they can dispose of dead fish compleatly in no time at all im really sorry for your loss
