Hi everyone,
I am new to betta owning ( ihad one when i was little but my mother took it to work) anyways, a while back, my friends called me in hysteria, and somehow convinced me that they had blended my friend's betta fish in her blender and fed it to the dog ( i swore they were all high on pot) I found out (two months later) that she has a betta fish in a tank that is shaped like a blender and makes blender nioses (no actions) with a swearing talking fish on tape. Her betta is quite fine. SO for christmas they got me a betta. (Which i love) and all the betta accessories.
His name is (Oh a shocker) Blender.
My problem is that i think blender is gay. he is very very picky with his food. he wouldn't eat the betta food or bloodworms, or normal fishy flakes, just this expensive premium betta food. He has been building a bubble nest so i thought he was sexually frustrated and taped on a print out of a female betta to his tank. He had no response. WELL aware that if you hold up a mirror to most bettas they get mad and ram cages, i did this, and he just swam up closer to it and never once flared. Is my betta gay? Should i find him another gay betta so they can be happy. I only want what is best for my fish. Thanks
