She's been seemingly fine except for quite a loose stool which you kind of expect just coming from a pet store, but tonight when i looked in on her and my other 2 she was completely lethargic and laying on the bottom of the cage. I took her out and she was just limp and lifeless. Still alive but really not much life in her. :-(
It's almost 1am and i don't know what to do. i held her for quite a while but really i think she just wanted to be left alone, so i put her on a nice fluffy towel in her cage and put a blanket on her. I don't think she's gonna make it through the night. I'm completely devasted and of course i can't sleep. i just don't know why?!
I hope to GOD it wasn't anything i did!

I'm sorry to hear ! But remind me who Kaylee is ? :/

Bird / rodent ?

Oh, what a shame. I was up two nights in a row with my kitten at the beginning of the week. I was very worried about her but a trip to the vets has made all the difference as she is completely better now.

I hope she makes it through the night and then you can take her to the vets in the morning.

Keep us posted.

This is going to sound strange, but I learned this while working as a volunteer at the humane society.... pinch some of her skin/fur (lightly!) and pull it away from her body. It should return quicky. If it returns extremely slowly or stays in a tent-like shape she is dehydrated from her loose stools and needs some liquid or an IV IMMEDIATELY.

Yup I can vouch for that one, they did this to my dog and also I've seen it when I worked in a vet.

Let us know what happens

I so sorry she ill.

sounds like she needs a vet ASAP.

What colour is her poop??

need anymore help, I have LOTS of UK and USA ferrety friends, that know loads.

My thoughts are with you. One of our guinea pigs (Smartie) had a stroke a couple of weeks ago, and it is absolutely devastating. You feel so helpless. Stay strong!
