I Think I'm Cycled!

Hi all,

I've been fishless cycling for the past weeks / month and think I might just have the end in sight tonight
I was hoping someone would back me up on that conclusion...

I know I still have to do my qualifying week at least, but with my Nitrite at 0 on day 34 I'm over the moon.

29 degrees C throughout.
No plants, some bogwood, small gravel.
Sorry about the poor formatting of the table below.
Important points are Day 11: Ammonia at 0, Day 34: Nitrite at 0 (and Nitrate dropped slightly too).

When your ammonia first dropped to 0, and nitrite appeared did you re-dose to 4/5ppm at all? Cant quite work out your results?

Yes, when the ammonia has dropped to 0 I've re-dosed it again every time.
Ever since that first drop the ammonia seems to have processed within 24 hours.

Can I ask what testing kit you've been using?

Sure.
I've been using the Nutrafin Mini Master Test Kit. I bought it before reading on here that the API one is preferred.

have you been testing on the 12 hour mark also?

When you can process the ammonia & nitrite to zero in 12 hrs then dosing back up on the 24hr mark and it clears again within 12hours then you're nearly there

I've only tested at 24 hours so far - was waiting for the nitrite to drop, but now it has I'll start testing at 12 hour intervals.
