I Think I Am Mistaken

i thought i had synodontis shoutentendini.but then i saw s. aterimis it looked my fish

are either of these fish rarer than a petricola

Without seeing a pic of your syno I really couldn't say which it is but they're not identical species.
I've not come across either of those particular species in shops so far but have the Petricola. On the other hand I did go looking for the Petricolas so I'm not sure you could say that makes them rarer or not. I'd like one or two of each of them tho.....just because... )
