I hate being a new fish owner because I don't know when something is wrong.

Although, I've had this fish for a couple of weeks and this is the first time I've seen him behaving like this. He's a fancy guppie so he has a rather large tail... for the past two days he's been having a hard time swimming.

Yesterday morning his body was straight up and down, not sure if he was resting and his tail was just weighing him down or not.

He's at the bottom of the tank alot and hiding under things. I honestly thinnk he's going to die but I'm just trying to be positive and think that he just needs to rest because of his tail.

He's one of my fav guppies because he has a great personality. I just hope he's going to pull through.

To be honest it doesnt sound too good, are the other fish still petering him? do you a quarantine tank u could put him in?

i think that you will get more responses if you post this in the tropical fish emergencies forum.

also it will be easier for us to answer if you can tell us the water parameters, tank size and other fish in tank
