Snails sure do love letting it all hang out eh? Since, last I checked they're both male and female , no wonder I'm constantly culling snails out of my tanks...well not the Betta tank...he chows down on them! What kind of snail is it? It looks mighty hefty compared to mine!

Not apple snails..
there are females and males..

how big is that snail rely, i used to have a big apple snail about twice the size of a quarter, i had to get rid of him thogh

He was only this big when i got him 3 weeks ago..------------------
now he is this big..--------------------------

He is in the 27 gal with 6 dwarf corys..sure did make it sparkle..

Loverly big snail, i bet he really did make the glass shine! I would love to be trusting enough 2 get a snail, but with all the problems ive had in the past with the snails u get on plants, im not very trusting of them, lol.

I did concider gettin an apple snail, but then i read a tragic case on here sumwhere about some1 whos poor betta had an arguement with an apple snail and came of alot worse, cus the snail snapped his shell down around the betta.

Mayb if i could get a snail that wouldnt get very big i might trust it
