After about 6 months of being in sep tanks i wnted to put my sev pair back together in my 79g, the only downside was my oscar cause i was thinking he might attack the female once i put her in there, anyway i chucked heaps of food in the tank to take the attention away from the female sev and it worked well, the oscar didnt even notice she was in there and when he did see her he didnt seem to mind at all i was so happy the tank looks so cool, but then the male sev seen her and he didnt like what he seen, he started to chase her around the tank with his gills flareing and biting her, i let it go for a little while but it was no good :( the male sev had claimed that tank as his and he wasnt going to let any other sev come into the tank so i took HIM out :D and put him in the 180g and left the female in my tank she seems very very happy and doesnt bother anything. Og well guess i have to wait till the 500g is ready untill i can have them back togeather.

Hi

Now you have taken him out and it is not his territory anymore you may be able to re-introduce him.

Another idea when introducing new fish is to rearrange the tank so all the territories are changed.
