I Need Something Cleared Up

You know how when you first set up a new tank the tank walls and everything is covered with small bubbles. Well all of the bubbles the was on the tank walls are gone but for some reason there are tons of bubbles covering my heater and I wiped them off with an algae sponge and within an hour it came back then I did it again but it came back. So will it go away on its own or what can I do to get rid of it because it looks stupid and I want it gone. Advice welcome.

I had that problem when I filled my new tank just before Xmas. I filled it with cold water when I should have used warm but I didn't want to use water from the hot tap plus the nearest tap is the cold one in the conservatory.It is winter here so the cold water is very cold. I thought the bubbles would never go! Plus I was scared I had cracked the tank with the water being very cold. The bubbles on the internal filter housing (the heater is inside there)were the last to go. Yours should go soon too. It did take about 4 days.

its just the oxygen in the water with the water heating up the oxygen goes in the form of bubble when the water is right they will go

Well with my 10g and long 20g they didn't have bubbles in them after I set it up. Also could it be because I have the filter from my 20g running with it and the extra oxygen is causing the bubbles? Also the tank has already been set for all most a week.

New tanks tend to do that until there is a coating of bacteria built up on the tank & other items in there. It took around 3 weeks for that to stop happening to a few 29's I set up a while back. It goes away on it's own in a day or so, but will reappear after water changes.

nothing to worry about its just oxygen in the water. when i have done larger water changes after a dead fis has been in over night i get the bubble a little bit

and when your filling the water the air prob got stuck in your substrate if you have any and its just coming up now because its just getting free from the gravel

Yes. This is quite common. It's happened to me. The bubbles you can wipe away, but they go away in like 3-4 days. It's just oxygen, like everyone said, comming out from between the gravel.
