I made a post that they were doing a little better but they have took a turn for the worse thier little bellys look flat and they cant seem to swim just only on the bottom the readings are 0 ammonia 0.25 nitrites and 0 nitrates I think this may be a internal infection or something I might not be able to fix what do you guys think about this I have never seen nothing like this before

Hi Eliabeth

I had the exactly the same problem with my last batch of guppy fry (18) they got to 4 weeks old and they started to shuffle along the tank bottom, stopped eating and finally died. PM willaim he will able to help.

Willaim he told me that the whole batch had some sort of muscle wasting disease and that there was no cure for it. Unfortunely they all died before they got to 2 months old.

But i'm not totally sure if it can happen to molly fry.

Do you watch them eat at all?

Do they swim with difficulty? Does it look like they are in some way paralysed and can only swim by moving their body instead of just their tail? Have you found any dead ones? Could anything have been picking on them?

they swim by using thier tails thier little bellys look like they are flat but they are eating and trying to swim they can only get mabey three inches up then it looks like they just tire out they dont act like they are sick and thier tails seem to be all there.

maybe its just tired? you should iscolated it in with a pantyhose net, and see if it catches its breath. thats just guess tho
