I Need Some Help Knowing What To Do With These Frogs

a week and a half ago i got 2 African clawed frogs
[ ther very small about an inch long, so i have a 10 gallon tank]
and 1 golden apple snail. i have no filter so i change out half the water twice a week.
but the water still seems kinda mirky. and left over food sinks to the bottom.
the tank is getting slimy, and ther were weird things growing on my snails shell.
[i cleaned them off] I really think i should get a filter but is it completely neccesary?
The frogs r acting normal and r kinda hilarious when they eat.

Yes a filter is needed.

You could just make a small sponge filter like [topic="0"]this one[/topic]. You can probably get a small air pump for relatively cheap, although I'm not sure, mine came with a kit for an old 1 gallon tank I had.....

A filter would really help

I got a filter and now my tank is crystal clear!!

and im going to add some fish, which kind aren't very expensive,
don't eat snails or frogs, and r pretty cool looking?

What colour are the frogs?

don't add fish with the clawed frogs. the clawed frogs will see them as potential dinner as they grow. especially as you've only just added a filter and it won't be cycled yet.

I let my tank cycle for a few days now i put 2
very small fish in ther[ same size as frogs]. they were only a dollar
so i don't care if the frogs eventually eat them. the frogs r albino

it takes 2-4 weeks for the bacteria to establish in the filter, not a few days.

yeh... fish and clawed frogs dont go... my frog ate a 10" eel.

my frogs dont even chase them, they just eat they're normal food. plus on the box of my filter it said two days to cycle.

Oh boy! Are you in trouble! Those things are can get huge! They can mess things up so bad if they get loose that they are illegal in some states!

Be carefull that the fish don't eat all the food. Most fish are fast and pigs, frogs are slow and may starve if out competed by fish.

i said that i really dont care if they eat the tiny fish, because theres only 2 and they were realy cheap.
