You won't be able to sex them by looking at them. If it was a pair you were hoping for then you should purchase a few of them and let one form.

actually pica what is being found out is that they are indeed capable of breeding. I am seeing more and more posts everyday about this.

Not all are indeed capable of breeding. In fact, while females are almost always fertile, it's still extremely rare to find a fertile male. They will still form pair bonds and breed, but the eggs will usually fungus and eventually be eaten

Anyway, like freddyk said, you can't sex them just by looking at them.

hybrids are the result of two different species breeding together, such as horse+donkey=mule

infertile means that they can't produce viable eggs/sperm. that means you can't breed them.

however, it looks like only male blood parrots are infertile so while your blood parrots won't hatch babies together, a female could in theory make babies with something else.
