I need help with a broken light

So my fish tank is all set up and is cycling, but the glass part on the hood protecting the light from water is broken in some places, irreparably. Can I order a new protector for it or? (Topfin 36 gallon bowfront and stand set)

Assuming that it's not structural glass and just a lid, you could replace it with clear plastic. It's not unusual, though, for the light to be "above" the water with nothing in between. If you want to be extra safe, you could get a submersible light - that way it won't matter if it gets splashed or falls in, and new LED ones are great.
