my balloon molly is a girl and has been wat looks like in labor or dying for 6 and a half hrs and has given birth to wat think is a fry so my question is will more fry come or will there just be one baby and how long do u think labor could last and when will they start swimming. this is my first batch of fry so im really not sure what should think or do or whatever so any help would be appreciated
THANKS

well sumtimes fish will have one and then an hour later have a couple more and then later sum more, but if shes been in labor for 6 hours that is defenately not good. and also if the fry isn't swimming imeadiatly after birth then is gt sumthin wrong to

could they be premature or i dont know im not even sure shes had a fry yet but im sure shes in labor

that just might be a premature birth due to stress from other fish or it could only be the beginning of a long labor. my advice is just leave her alone and keep an eye out for more babies. but now that i think of it she could just be bloating of some kind i dont know what its called but i remember someone at the petstore telling me if the fishes scales start to stick our like a pin cusion and it becomes more aggressive its because of over feeding or a large amount of stress due to changing inviroments and there a medicine you can buy and apply to the tank witout hurting any of the other fish. hope i helped

yea u did but in last few hrs she has been layin on her side but every once in a while she gets up but it looks like shes a car that can go any direction but straight she looks bigger than my other balloon molly and its just confusing i need lots of help though it would be appreciated

THANK YOU
