i need help id'ing a pike cichlid,i don't know pikes so i'll need a site w/lots of pics.you got any?

this is the closest match,this ones a lil darker but aside from that it's a match.

sorry it wouldn't let me post the image :grumpy:
i called the lfs and ask which pikes he had in stock but he said there were only 2 ppl working (understaffed lfs :0 )and asked me to call back tomorrow(this was yesterday)
so maybe i'll find out for sure later.

Now, Now...don't try to confuse me It was'nt there earlier .

Anyway if that is what it is then you have found a somewhat rare species indeed. These were at one time available regularly, but are not now.

Are you thinking of getting into Pikes? If so there are better choices. check out the Saxatilis or the Rio Xingu 1 (aka the orange pike) both of these are beautiful fish.

no i just happen to like this particular one while i was at the lfs,i liked it's attidude.
as far as being a rare species,if i understood the lfs guy correctly(he mumbles big time)they stock mostly wild caught fish.
