I Need Help. . .quetzal/firehead Cichlids

I am in need of serious help with my two quetzal cichlids. I purchased them 3 months ago and was told they were a pair, but they have been a nightmare since I got them. The smaller male is continuosly chasing the bigger female and has started attacking my velvet oscar. I have separated them for days at a time but when I take the dividers out they just start all over again. I could really do with some help as I don't know how much longer I will be able to keep them if they continue to fight. Any info would be greatly appraciated. Thank you.

Hi What size tank are they in and what other fish are in there?
 
If its been three months its probably time to move one of them on. I usually think 2 weeks gives a good concept of what behavior is going to be like long term.
