I Need Assistance

I think my Female gold MM platy is pregnant as her belly is swollen up and has been that way for a couple of weeks now, but she has no gravid spot. I am very confused because all the pictures of a gravid spot show them as a black spot. I would love it if she is pregnant but I am not sure. I am pretty sure that it is not bloat or dropsy because she has displayed no other symptoms. I can not get a pic because of the poor quality of my Digital Camera and she is a very active fish, doesn't sit still very often. Any help would be appreciated.

You more than likely wont see the gravid spot as dark as what you would on a guppy due to the colouration of the platy they alot darker and have much more colour depth than a guppy and are not as see through for use of a better word
