Awesome! I plan to add more fish on Friday as that's when I'm going to pick up crickets for my bearded dragon. No sense in making two different trips in the opposite direction of where I live.

I've got five mollies/platies (the pet store guy said platies but they look like mollies to me)
Two julli cory and five I think bronze cory
One pale blue gourami

Planning on picking up more julii cory (although slowly as whatever these are cost $9.99 a fish and I'm not spending that much at once) and more bronze cory to make full shoals and maybe some more mollies/platies. I want to get some guppies the PetCo really hasn't had any guppies that look good. I do try and get fish that don't look sick.

They were all I could find at PetCo. I normally use the dropper ones but the PetCo was out of most things.

I use these and it nearly matched the one I took to my aquatic store. They have a machine that tests. Just saying, those are the same test strips I use.

Now that you have the water params where they should be, you may be blessed with more fish w/out having to spend a dime...livebearers breed profusely, and often

Adding to the cory population should be fine

Yeah I know what you mean. I dip and lay them flat. Tap sideways after a few seconds (like 5-6) then read. I’ve tested these strips accuracy at my aquatic shop. This isn’t a large commercial company, it’s a shop with healthy and well maintained aquariums so I trust them.

This is a long thread, but I think it was mentioned earlier on that your water is soft. The test strips indicate a low GH. This is not suitable for any livebearers, especially mollies that must have it considerably harder.

I've never had babies before with fish keeping. It will be interesting when it happens.

Eventually there will be plants growing along the top but I've been trying to build up the fish before I do any aquaponic stuff.
