A few weeks ago, I looked into my tank and found what looked like white eggs on the leaves of my plants. Didn't think much of it, I eventually assumed it was just sand that got kicked up. They were gone within hours.

This morning I saw the same eggs stuck to leaves and the glass walls. Because I also found snail eggs on my hood, I assumed they were just snail eggs that had dropped into the water. A stupid assumption because snail eggs are pink and the eggs in question were white. Anyways, they were gone after I took my morning shower.

I eventually got online and image-searched for corydoras eggs, and that's when I realized what I had lost twice were cory eggs. Stupid me.

well, when your not sure what your looking at its easily over looked.
What snails do you have to get pink eggs? as mine (before I irradicated them with chain loaches) were clear globs of goo...

are you going to try and save some of your eggs next time?

Definitely. Will probably hatch and raise them if I see anymore, then I'd just give them away.

As for the snails, they were pomacea bridgesii.

Inchworm has a post here someplace nearby with a picture of panda eggs. I don't think they were white.
