I May have accidently made monte carlo a floating plant

it's not because when i set up the tank my monte carlo split up and some bits floated away i left them there and it has been 3 months and that is what it looks like. if it would of been duck weed it would have multiplied a lot more than that

No without a doubt that is lemna minor aka common duckweed. The smaller variety not giant duckweed.

I bought the same under the guise of it being Monte Carlo. Very little has stayed planted and I scoop it out by the bowl full all the time. Probably never get rid of it all but it's a nice cover plant just have to stay on top of it.
