I was doing a water change on my daughter's betta tank (1.5 gallon hex) and put the betta into a different container while I was cleaning his home. Well, I've never had this happen before, but the betta jumped out of the jar (I know that they are jumpers, but this one never has). Well, he landed on the table, and flopped around quite a bit before I was able to get him back into his tank (luckily he jumped out as I was refilling the tank, so everything was ready for his return).

After I had him back in the tank, I realised that there was a little bit of blood on the table, and he was only swimming with one of his "side fins" (sorry I'm blanking on the proper name). As soon as I had noticed the blood on the table, I added some melafix to the tank, and frantically searched for my salt (which I still can't find). That was about 4 hours ago, and after a bit of sitting at the bottom, he is up and eating, using all of his fins. I did, however, noticed that one (maybe even both) of his eyes is a little bit hazy. Could be considered cloudy, but it doesn't really seems as if the entire eye is hazy.

Will he be alright, or is there anything more I should do? I treated him the best I knew how (I've never been in this situation before)! Is it a waiting game? Please Help!

It sounds like you did good by getting him back in his tank and adding the melafix. You should probably add some stress coat, raise the water temp a bit, and offer him plenty of rich foods in the next few days (should he continue to recover). Keep the tank extra clean, and if you find your salt, put some in. I don't know why his eyes would be cloudy, perhaps the lens was damaged in the flailing? Hopefully he'll recover fully. Good luck.
