I love my brother

well, I had a bit of a suprise earlier.

My brother came home with £40 worth of bogwood for me..simply because he wanted to get it for me (plus he used to work at the lfs so it cost next to nothing)
Then, he tells me that he's reserved a fish for my tank. Naturally I felt like kicking him when he first told me... then he told me what it was. He's reserved a Scribbled Pleco for me..a fish usually sold around here for £30 but because he used to work there the manager said he can have it for just £1. I know theres nothing wrong with the fish because we've had deals like that from there before (like a £200 vivarium for £60). My borther also had the sense to ask him how big it grew as well before even considering getting it so i trust him on this.

He also informs me that the guy there has said he'll cut up to 90% of the price off when I buy fish & ornaments from him now

Oh man. Some people are just too lucky. And to think, if I were to work at an lfs here (which I want to do) I probably wouldn't even get a 30% discount. Oh well.

yes, my brother is indeed one hell of a great guy

After I posted that he took me down to the huge aquatics place here to pick out some fish for my tank. He was really annoyed when my mum refused to let him buy anything , everytime I go to that place he comes along.
