i love betta's

about a year ago i saw some pictures of some really
wild coloured betta's that had tails that were more rounded than usual
anyhoo, i was told that these ones do NOT fight and kill each other
is this fact or fiction ?

I believe those are crowntails but Im not sure. all bettas fight if you put them together, because that is what they do in the wild.

Very true, there are species of betta that live peacefully together and are not aggressive like the splendens.

from what i heard, plakats are worse than your everyday long tail betta...WAY more aggresive...born killers..

well yea plakats are like that because the closet thing to a wild type betta. and it could a smaragdina that your talking about. their so peacefull.mine loves its female tankmate. it swims with her not even flaring. lol.
