I have just found my last female betta dead :-( ,
no signs of illness in the last 24hrs,
water params are spot on.

This is it for me, I'll never keep another betta,
Thanks for the help you experianced beta keepers
have given on the forums it has helped me in the past.

I doubt you'll see me in this part anymore (not that I posted here much,
but I always enjoyed reading the threads)

I wish you all luck with your betta.

:p im sorry for your loss!Ive lost loadsa betas m not gettin any more.............for now

:( Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I hope this deter you from keeping another betta in the future. RIP fishy...

I'm really really sorry to hear about your loss.
I currently have a fish on the brink of disaster, and I can tell you - when he goes, I'm going to go right out and get another one that needs to be rescued from somewhere. I have to, or it will ruin me from keeping them all together.
It's kind of like riding a horse - if ya get bucked off, ya get right back on.

HOWEVER...
I completely understand your not wanting to get back into it right away, if at all. It's hard to lose fish - if I had known just how hard it would be when they go, and/or how attached I could become to them, I might not have started keeping fish. But the rewards they give back are exponentially greater than what we go thru when they go.

Keep your chin up - you may find a betta out there one day again that you just can't life without...
