My 2 bettas that had the bacterial infection passed away I'm so sad
I was treating the tank with waterlife Myxazin but ran out so I did a 50% water change and waited 48 hour which was stated on the bottle and started treating with JBL general disifectant instead. By this time one of the bettas had already died and the other actually was very active and I thought he was going to be just fine. I treated the tank with one dose of the JBL medication and it said if after 4 days the fish is still sick do another treatment. The betta still had some white around his eye so I treated with a second dose yesterday after their feed of bloodworms. By this morning the betta looked sluggish very pale and was in the back of the tank his tummy was swollen too He was just kind of drifting so I thought maybe it was the medication and did a 50% water change but it was too late and he died a few hours ago
Maybe it was too much at once?? What could I of done different? Both the other 2 Bettas living in the same tank are fine and very healthy.
I am thinking maybe the frozen bloodworms and frozen mosquito larvae could be causing them problems??
