i use seachem- reef salt.
why? coz it was the best one in the shop. according to my LFS lol

Err Natural sea water

I also use Tropic Marine Pro.

I remeber being told when starting up my first saltwater tank that it is not good to change the brand of salt you use once you have started using one type. This was said by an LFS so could be a big, steaming pile of manure but anyone else agree or disagree with that?

I have always used Red Sea as that is what's predominantly available round my area.

I'd call that a big steaming pile... Just think about it logically. Ok, its probably not wise to do a 100% water change and replace your water with a new salt mix brand, but thats more because of the stress of doing a 100% water change, not the brand change. Switching slowly over time shouldn't be much of a problem at all if you do like 10% changes once a week.

Knowing what I know now it seems absurd as, even though there is composition differences between salt brands, partial water changes would minimise any change and make them barely noticable.

Just goes to show what an LFS will say to get you to buy from them :grr:
