Keep on top of water changes if needed.

If either ammonia or nitrite are higher than .25 ppm, make sure you do a water change to bring them back down.

I understand. My levels were dropping
Ammonia was 0 in 8 hours, nitrites were 0 in 16 hours, and I did a full water change before adding the fish, And I've already tested the water twice since they been in....amm 0 nitrites 0 nitrate 5

Keep in eye on both Ammonia and Nitrite for the next week.

If both Ammonia and Nitrite remain at 0 ppm for the week, then you can consider your tank cycled!

I don't think it'll be cycled on 6 fish??????when a full load would be what 15.....? ish

but I always have had a obsession with the test kit so will be testing 3 hourly throughout the day to keep an eye...thanks

what do you think of them, Pepper has a blue tinge to her and is pregnant I think, she is full bellied, and Honey is fuller bellied. I may have to get anothr 2 females as the mickey mouse whom I may name Bruce...is hassling Melba

You will be cycled for your current stocking.

If you got and add more fish, only add 1 or 2 per week. This allows time for the bacteria to catch up.

Looks like it.

You should be fine, just check everyday for a week. If nothing changes, then you should be fine.

I had same problem. I initialy was doing the cycle was a few days, then mom came home with three guppies so I had no choice. It's 4 weeks now and I'm still cycling and doing water changes daily.
