I got up this morning and they were 5 big bubble nests made. I have them setting next to each other in the kitchen and they loved it.

That's too cute, Angel Lady. Nuthin' cuter than a juvie nest, they always build them so neat and tight ^_^

My single boy from Synirr had a BIG ol bubble nest the other day ^^ However, he chose not to rebuilt it after the water change. They're quite the little builders!

Is the bubbles for the breeding nest? or is it just because the betta likes to make bubbles?

Bubblenesting is indeed a breeding behavior, but the males seem to do so even with no females around when they are healthy and content.

KeddyPie, I  Berry!

Synirr's boys are men's men for sure! They seem to show them off to one another too--kind of a competion for Alpha male. At least so it seems. Let me know if I'm projecting.

Ahahahha! One of KeddyPie’s babies is named Leeroy Jenkins! That’s just awesome. :D

Play WoW do ya? :)

Sorry to be totally off topic. :/

Aren't Synirr's babies awesome??? I LOVEEEEE them, they are soo cute. All "me against the world" hehe. Mine flare at my others that are 4 times the size of them like the others are nothing  And they build such big FAT nests :D

Well I changed the water this morning and they were 5 more nest again this morning. How old do they have to be to start breeding. I think if they continue this I may try to breed one of them. My favorite one is Ralph is stays busy flaring and building. I havent never tried breeding bettas and I know it will be hard but I am game to it. I have the room and the extra tanks...

Wuv I was wondering if you could mabey walk me through getting mine bettas to breed. If those ones that Snyirr sent me keeps this bubble nest building up then I am going to let them breed,,If I can get some help with it. I have never got the pleasure of getting bettas to breed..

I assume they're old enough to breed already, since redbetta just bred a pair of them *lol*

I dont think the girls are ready yet. But I am quite sure the boy ones are. If you could only see them.... I wish I had a cam corder I would love for you to see the way they are acting..
