Bought my first 2kg of LR yesterday.. so I've been bug spotting and got a few pics of my hitchhikers! Excuse the pic quality. they were taken on my phone!

brittle star, spotted a ouple of these!

Asterina star I believe? From what I can tell its also a coral eater?

And I don't know what these are!

This ones huge! abouy 5mm wide, if not a bit more!

And some smaller ones

And lots of tube things, poking out the left hand side of the rock on this pic..

and some pretty red and green stuff! lol

The star is probably harmless, most are.
The worms are bristle worms (eunicid) and are good CuC, just don't touch em.

Those worms with the spines are bristle worms, don't touch them or the spines will become imbedded in your skin and it will sting...quite a lot! If you do accidentally get stung, soak your hand in vinegar as it will dissolve the spines.

Pfft bristle worms are gentle compared to fire worms, TBH getting tagged by a bristle feels much like stinging nettles...... Fire worms hurt.

I touched one of my bristle worms once, I would not recommend it.

Fire worms are bright red and furry, bristles are usually darker and bristly. Sadly there is so much diversity you are rarely 100% (unless you grab one that is

Oh I didn't think of google! Mine doesn't look much like it in my pics, but he looks just like all the google images by eye!.. I'll steer clear of him i think
