I have an 80L cycled tank with 6 Dwarf Albino frogs, 2 cherry apple snails,2 dwarf gourami,2 honey gourami. I was going 2 do a fishless cycle but a family friend offered me some filter media to use. I bought plants ffrom the local lfs when i got my snails. I washed the plants before putting them in the tank but the nxt day over one of the new plants were tiny clear eggs with small brown specks in them. At first i thought the plants had been nibbled on but they feel raised up off the leaf and not visible from the other side. Any ideas anyone? :shout:

Im currently looking for a 180L or + for a reasonable price cud anyone point me in the wright direction? :good:

They are probably snail eggs, although not apple snails (since they lay their eggs above the water level), and probably not gourami eggs (since they lay their eggs in a bubble nest), i don't know abouy the frogs though, but the description you gave sounds quite classic of common pond snail eggs or similar type of snail (such snails often hitch a ride on aquarium plants into tanks).

Is it safe to leave them in or shud i pull em out? The frogs i have been told wud spawn like normal frogs.

Its probably best to get rid of them since snails like common pond snails are notorious breeders and can quickly over-populate tanks, it is safe to keep though if you do want them although you may end up with too many snails on your hands.

edit: here are pics of different types of common snail eggs if you are interested;

If its 80litres then i would say it isn't overstocked, i would actually say you have a fair amount of space to spare as far as fish stocking goes.

I just noticed something though- albino frogs tend to almost always be African Clawed Frogs, these frogs grow to the size of a fist and will eat your fish as they grow bigger if they are ACF's.
Do the frogs happen to look like these ones;

Unfortunately the frogs will grow large enough to eat your gourami's too, i've seen ACF's try and swallow fish too big to even be swallowed completely by the frog.
