plants need co2... i breathe out co2. i get straw and blow into tank against plants lightly a few times a day.... will that give em a lil co2 or is it just blowing into a tank with a straw in an attempt to save 15$

it won't work as there is hardly any carbon dioxide in our breath anyway, also, it wouldn't diffuse. I know it won't work but I'm not sure if those are the correct reasons

Im afraid that wont do. Plus as soon as you put bubbles in the aquarium they would quickly rise to the surface and hardly help towards putting CO2 into the tank at all.
To get the Co2 levels you want/need then DIY yeast method or pressurized is the way to go.

In fact that will likely work the opposite way. Surface disturbance is what fosters the gas exchange process. Therefore when the bubbles hit the surface the disturbance will result in some of the dissolved gases in the tank being released into the air.
