I Have A Suggesion

My interests at the moment are biotopes. I suggest that there be an area specifically for biotopes and advice on them and to other board members biotopes off.

My reason being this; i bet there are a few people with real in depth knowledge about certain habitats around the world and i could do with their help!

My worry would be that such a section would not get the traffic to warrant having it there -  we recently removed the subsection on rare livebearers, and there are 2 or 3 threads regarding rare stuff in the livebearers section - they didn't need a separate section.
 
Would these types of threads not sit well enough in the Tropical Discussion section? You can tag your post with the word "biotope" to make it more visible.

Indeed, the disadvantage with having a separate section for a low traffic topic is that it doesn't get seen by anyone without a specific interest in the area. Being in the general section allows for greater viewings.
 
Now, of course, if it becomes a high traffic topic........

Ok valid point, you may be right. Its just quite hard to find decent things on the net about biotopes. Probably a good reason as no one reads like you said! Thanks anyway.
