Tempestuousfury told me that I have a potential with my 29 gal tank housing 9 feeder goldfishes and a oto cat, but he didn't tell me what was the problem. I'll be great if u (Tempestuousfury) or others read this post and tell me the problem. :D

I might already have guessed, maybe I only have one oto cat????

My mom friend bought them becuase I had tanks lying around with nothing in there, so I ended taking care of them and started to like fish keeping.

IMHO the feeders are taking up too much space that could be used for more attractive species. Usually feeder fish are inbred and deformed with a short lifespan hence the purpose to be used as food and not to live long anyway.

Actually I won a feeder at a school fair and kept it alive for over 6 months. I loved the little... uh... androgenite.

goldfish get HUGE and create a lot of waste, which can mess up your water quality. i dont know what kind of goldfish are "feeders" but even the smalelst goldfish get to 6" and you'd need in excess of an 80 gallon tank to house nine. also your otto cat needs tropical temperatures so shouldnt be housed with coldwater goldfish and it needs to be in groups.

Alright thx for the reply. I will put mu oto cat with my guppy and platy and get 2 more :D
