I have a home, but not a name :(

Hi, I found yet another beauty that I couldn't pass up today. His body is almost black and his fins are red. He is one of the most beautiful fish I have ever seen. I saw him yesterday, and dreamt about him last night. I had to go get him. He is sitting on my desk in a 2 1/2 gallon tank, happy as can be. I have a couple of pics, sorry about the quality, my camera sucks. I think I am going to go borrow my mom's professional digital so I can have some fun taking pics with a zoom.

Any ideas what to name him? He is really curious, and follows my finger along the tank. I love him to bits, but then I love all my fish to bits. Thanks for your suggestions.

My Betta has a black head and a mix of blue green and red (see avatar for a bad pic) and I named him Opal because it is a beautiful stone with this lovely mix of colours. Yours is black, red and blue - same thing? So I would suggest Opal.
Or just Gorgeous would work too
Or maybe Storm - black clouds rolling on a blue sky with a red sunset But I'm down under so maybe storms look different for you

I like Tempest or perhaps Ula, thats what I named my metallic plakat because of his gorgeous colors. It means jewel of the sea.

The name Black Beauty keeps popping into my head. Every time I see him I think that, so I think it is a sign. Although I love Ula, and Aspen, Storm too. Hmm........... I think I need at least 3 more bettas, so I can use those names Wonder if the hubby will notice 3 more 2.5G on my desk Thanks for all your suggestions.

I would name him Tempest. Tempest reminds me of right before a storm at sea when the sky changes all the colors of your guy. There is a song that goes " Like Tempest to the Sea, Love is all. Thats all your new guy wants is love.
