I Have A Crab In My Tank From Live Rock

he is just like a grey normal crab with little pincers i spotted hiom 2 days ago when i was moving my lr around and can see him dow. what should i do should i leave him in there as a inhabitant untli i get my fish or remove him as soon as i can. how can i get him out without disturbing my rock formation

i cant hes jammed under some rocks. he hasnt done no harm to anything but he looks mean he is brown and white in colourand his pinchers are black

if his pincers are black hes a baddy, put a piece of prawn in a cup with some kind of stairs, then when he falls in, get him out the tank and take him to your LFS

The same thing happened to my rock, live rocks come with tons of live creatures haha. Depends on how lucky you are, you might even get some cleaner shrimp eggs in there. My crab got too big one day and got stuck i guess. Yeah, he died . Im not really sure what you should do with it, try taking it outa the rock before the crab gets stuck!

during the night, try leaning a glass up against the rock where you think the crab would most likely be and put a food pellet in. if the crab finds the food, it'd enter the cup but be unable to climb back up on the glass, so would stay there till you come by in the morning
