I Have 2 Silverish Blue (baby Blue) Tiger Barbs

i saw them in the fish store going for 7 a barb
(kinda expensive) especially for barbs

but i have yet to see a site with them or hear n e 1 mention them

there pretty nice btw

i forgot the official name but there tiger barbs

They are dyed albinos.

Most serious aquarists, in the UK at least, boycott any store selling any dyed fish.

They are dyed, although the price sounds a bargain (but you are confusing me lol) they have been injected with dye through a needle. The nearest omparison is having an injection with a pencil...

One of my LFS's has recently started selling some silvery grey "Platinum Tiger Barbs" which they say are a colour form of the wild type - in the same way as the green and the albino. Are these different?

I have also seen Tiger barbs labelled as Platinum and they certainly didn't look dyed, i assumed they were a genetically engineered morph like the Albino.

I think we need to calm down before we jump on people about dyed fish.. especially when you don't know if they are dyed or not.
