I Hate Ich.

Ookey. I've got a betta with minor ich at the moment, which is odd because I've been adding salt for the past couple of weeks. Any ways, I am going to get a treatment tomorrow. There are two kinds in my LFS. There's this tablet pill looking one, or one that comes in a bottle. Which do you recommend? The pill or bottle one?

Edit: Oh and will I have to get rid of my live plants? or will they be fine?

I used the bottle. I treated our Betta for a month and we have no live plants so I would follow the instructions on the bottle. We left the light on a whole month so that the water temp would warm up to a good tempurature to help kill off the eggs that the ick laid in there so it would not come back to haunt us later. Worked great but, you have to be vigilant and do the treatments as much as the bottle says. I would much rather deal with ick rather than the fin and tail rot I have been dealing with for months.
Be sure it is ick and not velvet or something else.
